As an adult, I find myself occasionally reflecting on my childhood. There are many things that I know now, that I wished I had known back then. Until two decades ago, I lived my life by trial and error and made decisions based on my limited knowledge and fear. The consequences of my decisions caused me to shrink internally and hesitate to pursue all that I dreamed of doing or becoming. I was held captive by my own shame and disappointment.

The program that I have created is a dream of what I wish I had when I was in my formative years. I am enthusiastic and wholeheartedly feel that it is critical girls are equipped with skills that will help them better navigate through life. The more informed a girl is, the more independent she becomes, and her self-esteem and confidence increase; resulting in a plethora of positive outcomes for them personally and for those around them.

Femme 360 is designed to enhance the quality of life for girls through its educational and training offerings. Helping one girl at a time live her most beautiful unapologetic life, will make many of the tears I’ve shed well worth it.
